task1 p1 unit 14 (redone)

Student who needs a phone for Internet access;

-For this person I would choose an iPhone I would choose this because you can go on the Internet very easily, go on games, text and ring.
-It may not be a cheap phone but it is defiantly worth its money. If you don't want to pay £30 or more a month then you could get a galaxy ace this is a cheap phone and you can get Internet access on it, you can do exactly the same on the galaxy ace as what you would be able to do on the iPhone except for it is cheaper.

A self-employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing;

-For a self-employed builder I would choose them to have a tough-book it would be good for invoicing and is as hard as a rock. If he/she carry's it on a building site and drops it, it would not smash or brake.
-Even though he/she has a budget of £600 you would be able to buy this because it is only £225 on eBay even though it is second hand i think this would be better for someone who will be taking it on a building site every day.

A journalist who needs an electronic tablet when on location;

-I think for a journalist who needs an electronic tablet I would choose an iPad. On an iPad you can do anything you want. You can go on the internet, listen to music, play games& it would be perfect to take away with you when you are on location. On the iPad there is a section called notes you write down anything you want here to make memories. There is also an amazing camera; it depends on which one you buy to the quality of it.
-You can buy different Mb of memory on the iPad and you can get it in black or white.

A factory worker who wants to buy an mp3 player to listen to on the bus;

-For the factory worker I would suggest an iPod Nano because it can hold up to 2000 songs on it. It is a good mp3 player because if you drop it, it won’t smash; the sound is also very good. An iPod is also good because you can get it in over 10 colours a boy or a girl can have it because there are girl and boy colours.
Another reason why it is good is because it is small and it is easy to pack away. You can fit it in your pocket or just put it in your bag. You can also buy cheap cases for it. When you buy the iPod Nano you get a free pair of apple make headphones with it so you won’t have to worry about finding a good pair of headphones.

task 1 p 2 unit 14 (redone)

Listing and describing the features for the devices I have suggested for P1;

1; For number one I have chose a iPhone or a Galaxy-ace because;

  • They both have internet accessibility.
  • They are both touch screens so they have a big screen to be able to go on the internet and read it easily.
  • They have a good memory so you will be able to store loads of videos, pictures, music and more on them.

2; For number 2 I have chose a Tough-book because;

  • You can connect to the internet.
  • They are unbreakable.
  • They cannot get water damage.
  • You will be able to carry it onto a building site without anything happening to it.
  • You can save things on it such as things on word or power-point etc.

3; For number 3 I have chose an iPad because;

  • It has a big screen, so you will be able to read things easily.
  • It connects to WiFi.
  • It has a big memory depending on what size you buy, so you can take photos and videos.
  • It has a notes place so anything you see or anything you want to add to your journal you can just quickly add it to the note section and add it to your journal in better detain later on.

4; For number 4 I have chose an iPod Nano because;
  • It holds over 2000 songs.
  • Its of a good quality.
  • You get a free pair of headphones with it.
  • It doesn't need charging that much.
